I am currently in the process of both repairing my Credit Scores and also looking to purchase my first "starter home," however I am running into a few roadblocks and was hoping someone could help me with some info to overcome these.
Every Bank & or Mortgage Broker I've spoken to thus far is telling me they only do FHA loans with a 640+ I currently have 630ex, 629tu and 610eq.
Myself and the Fiance are trying to close on something within the next 90-120 days and I am confident I will be able to get my scores to the 640 minimum by that point, however I would really like to have a back up plan just incase my scores stop rising at the rate they have been.
Information on anyone in local in IL or national that does FHA for IL who works with those who are at a 620 or better would be greatly appreciated.
