According to a loan officer I am working with he said my current score is in the 560's. What are you doing to increase it?
I am currently around 560 ish, what can I do to do a rapid rescore?

It is said you are able to have multiple mortgage pulls within 30 days (the shopping period) and it will only effect your score as 1 pull.
Its actually within 2weeks.
We haven't applied yet, but we were told that if we do get denied that we cannot In "good faith" go to another lender because we would need to wait six months. Lender that we met with said that once a new lender sees the pull they will question us.
Is this true?
This lender also said that a mortgage pull is considered as a soft pull - is this true?
Finally, how many times does a lender pull credit for an FHA loan, we were told only once initially and not prior to closing - but it seems some people have not had theirs pulled while others have. How does this work? If it is a soft pull why does it matter since it shouldn't affect the score?
Thanks
You see what we have here is a person afraid of losing their commission. They are willing to feed you some BS to keep you from going somewhere else. Seeing as they are unscrupulous on the front end with misinformation and misdirection, how do you feel they would be further down the road?
Go find someone else to do your deal.

Well just purchased my 3 scores from MYFICO...
TU - 658 / EQ - 619 / EX - 659... All from MYFICO
Getting closer and closer to FHA and my first home. Not sure if I should wait another month to have my lender pull again.
