I assume I'm not the only one following developments on this topic, so I thought I would start a new string to confirm that, as of this morning, HUD's website is now reflecting the new (or restored) higher loan limits. See here to search for the limits in your area:

As you can see, there are 2 new options in the drop-down, including "Nov 18, 2011 - Dec 31, 2011" and "CY2012." HUD's website back-dates the new limits for the remainder of 2011 to Nov 18th (when Obama signed the bill into law), so the loan limits are in effect now.
No new Mortgagee Letter has been issued yet, but I'm sure it's coming soon.
