FHA during Chapter 13

Has anyone had success doing this? I know the guidelines, but some inspiring stories would perhaps calm down some anxiety.

Re: FHA during Chapter 13

Yup, usually isn't a problem as long as credit has been perfect since the Ch 13 BK filing, new credit has been re-established for at least 12 months (most lenders are looking for 3 trade lines of 12 months), and are within the manual underwriting debt ratios.  All payments to the trustee being made on time, as well as the trustee's permission, are both needed.

Re: FHA during Chapter 13

@ShanetheMortgageMan

I have a judgement that was included in my Chp 13. In fact, it is the main reason that I decided to file. I've heard that it is possible to get an FHA mortgage while in Chp 13, but will the judgement prevent this?
