I understand that the current limits are only effective until December 31, 2011. Everything that I'm currently states that as of January 1, 2012, the limits could either stay the same or they could "change" again. However, nothing I'm reading indicates if we should anticipate them going down more or back up. Has anyone heard anything about HOW the limits would change if they do change... up or down?

Has anyone heard anything about what will happen to the limits in 2012?? We're only 30 days from then now!!

All loan limits for FHA were restored to their previous levels through 2013.  They did not restore for Fannie and Freddie though.
