FHA requirement question about employment

From what I've heard, FHA requires 2 years of steady employment to qualify.

My wife has two years but I've been unemployed for nearly a year.

Question is....Do we qualify under these circumstances?  Or do we both have to have 2 years steady employment history?

You both need 2 yrs unless she is planning to apply in her name only.
