Fannie Mae's HomePath Program

Has anyone ever bought a house through this (or FreddieMac's) program? According to the website, you do not have to pay PMI and the downpayment is 3% not 3.5%. Just curious as to whether this is a good program because it seems that the number of lenders that use this program is very low..

Re: Fannie Mae's HomePath Program

Is that the same thing as "express path financing"? I have seen that on some foreclosure listings and wondered what it was as well.

Re: Fannie Mae's HomePath Program

I called a lender about financing for this program and unless you have 20% down, you have to have a mid score of 660 to qualify.
