Finally Closed!!!!

I closed yesturday!  It has been a long 51/2 months from start to finish. USDA Direct loan, it is a great program, but takes some time. Now I can start gutting the kitchen and do alot of painting!.

that's a pretty house, congrats! do you remember how long it took once you had the offer in? I'm going direct as well and am waiting on the appraisal and inspection.

I believe I put the offer in on May 17th and was suppose to close around July 9th. but....there were some septic issues that had to be taken care of and that pushed things back just more than a month. the seller lives out of state and it made things kind of tuff. If your seller isn't out of state I wouldn't think it would take all that long, unless you have major repair issues.

I'm so glad I found Myfico, reading all of the posts on here and asking questions helped me get my scores up enough to qualify.

Thank you for the congrats! I am so excited, the house sits on an acre of land and is 180 ft. back off the road.It isn't as much land as I wanted, but it was what I could afford. Can't wait to get moved in!
