After a long bumpy 3 months I closed on my house last night at 4 pm. A 30 year fixed with 5.25%. Im so happy.

Why did it take so long to close if I may ask?
it was like 3 months from when i was first preapproved. But we had bank statements issues because of cash deposits, so them I had to do the gift letter which took like a extra week. I was orignally suppose to close 2 weeks ago. and then the day of closing we had insurance issues which i had to get resolved.
