Closed on this past Monday. I officially bought my first house. I'm sure you're all interested in the numbers so here goes. Total loan was a touch over $128,000, interest rate is 4%, add in taxes, insurance, and PMI, I'm at $886 a month. Not terrible, if you ask me. And at the time of approval, my middle credit score (the one they use for mortgages, I can't remember which number score it is and I can't remember which credit bureau it came from), was 623.
