First Home Purchase

I have never purchased a home before but my fiance and I are going to be purchasing one together and she owns our current home.  Would we be able to take advantage of any first-time home buyer deals since I am a first time home buyer?

You should since you will be on the loan. It is best to connect with a few loan officers on the board.

In my area, a "first time homebuyer" is someone who has never purchased a home, or someone who has never purchased in the past 3 years. Under both scenarios you can participate in assistance programs and loan packages if you meet the income and credit qualifications.
