Sorry for the late reply. 

I am actually under contract.  I have been approved for the $417...but, I guess im just scared that when we come to close, I will lose the 10k earnest I put down, for not being able to completely qualify.  Crossing my fingers. 

This is new construction and won't be complete until Jan-Feb 2017.

Has your file been through underwriting & approved? If so, you "should" be fine. If not, you really need to.
