Ok first off thank you for reading and helping either with advise or just allowing me to get all of this out..
My husband (retired vet 30%+ disabled) and I (3 kids) have been renting the house we are in and our lease is up after 2 years in July 30. Well the owner wants to sell and told us May 1st we like the house its great for our family so we decided to try and buy (extremely short notice) we really wanted to keep renting, but life seems to throw curve balls. I started the pre qual with Alaska federal credit union but a few days before we found out he wanted to sell I transfered credit card balances to my main credit card. Just so I had lower interest rates and paying on one card not three. Since he was going to apply for the home loan I was not worried till the loan officer told me I had to run a credit check on me too (Washington requires) well it came back good we proceeded to the application and it is now in underwriting they had two conditions so far one was to have letters explaining a few inquires and two for a few allotments (life insurance) she told me that they will not pull my credit till August (closing is to be July 8)
My credit card has not updated to the new balances yet for this statement. I am a nervous wreak. Can I write a letter I did tell her I transfered balances but she brushed it off.
Also my husband has a house in California we are selling that needs to be under contract and closing a few days before ours. I did mention to the lady that with the proceeds we are going to pay off almost all debt with in days of the sale of the house in California. (Roughly 30000 to credit cards)
Like I said we were not in any way prepared for this, but our rent is 1200 and the new payment would be 1300. We definitely can afford it but how can I let them (bank) know that? I can not sleep or eat my stomach is in knots I am a very anxious person and this is just making me insane. I want to just stop rewind before I transfered the balances and just left everything alone.
Please help thank you again for reading
