Well the thing with mine was when it first went to USDA it was less then 2 business days for a response, the response was that we needed a pool waiver. there were other conditions that went to the loan processor apparently..and so I was under the impression that once we agreed on the pool waiver (the sellers lowered the price of the house to the appraised value without the pool) then it would be back to USDA and back to me in another 2 days.. but it was a full week before it even went back to them, and it happened to be the Monday before the holiday on the 4th. then we didnt get the full approval until today. I think mine was longer though because of the pool waiver. It depends on your state, and how clear your file is.. it was definitely a nerve wracking time.. it was about 3 weeks total from the first time it went to USDA until now. Nerve wracking but worth it.. Ive been in a much better mood today
I was so stressed out!

I just found out today that our paperwork was sent over on July 9th so I guess we are in for a wait. I thought it was send last Monday, but I asked to know where we were. I have a question are you in the state of Florida?

No I am not but theholst and tlpec are in florida, they are both in the central office from what I remember and they both got there approval on Business day 20. I know central florida is pretty backed up from what they both said, so I would probably count on business day 20 and if it happens sooner great. What closing date did you tentitively set.

The closing date is suppose to be July 31 or sooner

Well just cross your fingers and hope. I know the others had to ask for an extension a few times.. My closing date is tentatively set for Friday and fingers crossed we still make it but since USDA approval just came today we cutting it close so we may need to push out. Do you know which office you are in in FL is it the central one? Did your LO tell you how many days USDA is turning around now.. they usually can tell you if they are currently 15-20 or 10- 15 etc. it all depends on the amount of apps that were put in during that time frame.

And we wait
Congrats on the new approvals! I'm not going to kill myself by counting the days (yet) I am closing today on my business sale though...so at this point I am just ready to go. Plus I am packing and the current rental house is a disaster.
*crossing my fingers* our extension is til the 31st.

Congratulations! We received USDA approval yesterday as well. It was submitted to the Central Florida office on June 28th so it was eight business days for us. We had planned to close next Friday on the 20th but are now moving it up earlier in the week.
