Hello:
I had a foreclosure and I am trying to understand the different dates on the deed.
When a deed is dated and notarized (10-Sep-14), but then at the upper right corner it is 'For Registration' with the register of deeds, county, excise tax, etc with the date of 30-Sep-14.
Which date do I go by?
10-Sep when it was notarized or by when the county dated and filed it?
Thank you

You use the date that it was executed. The date that it was recorded is variable. Some lenders record promptly and others don't. Your copy is proof of execution and deed transfer. The recording act is to make it public record.
So I go by 10-Sep-14?

Yes....execution = signing.
