Re: Help easy my mind.....

+1, I also was preapproved through the builder's lender as well and their requirements are stricter than the Broker I was originally preapproved with.

Re: Help easy my mind.....

Guess the ultimate question would be did you get clear to close? Are you in your new home?

Once again it still falls on overlay requirements and UW discretion.

In reality it doesnt much matter as the OP would qualify on their own. So instead of trying to jump through hoops the process would be much smoother by herslef. Just my three cents.

Re: Help easy my mind.....

So what are you trying to say JM-AM by posing the question that you did?

No I am not cleared to close or in my new home yet but I EXPECT that my application will go through the final review just fine. I don't need extra stress added to my life through your statement implying that I should expect a denial. I'm sorry but I don't need that right now. Saying something like that just to try to prove your point is disrespectful.

Re: Help easy my mind.....

Not hyper at all but I know it was directed towards my statement that OP's husband has a good chance of approval with other lenders as his credit profile is similar to mines. Your questions implied that my statement means nothing because I don't have clear to close or have moved into my new home yet. And underneath that it says that once I get denied this week, it will prove you were right...which is a sickening statement to make to someone who has so much riding on this home. I'm sorry but your point will NOT be proven. I will prove you wrong this week as we will get cleared to close this week!
