Help!! removed dispute comment from charge off..

Hello!! I recently removed a "dispute comment" from a charge off acct it updated to 12/4/12 and now says Date closed 12/4/12. This acct was charged off 4yrs ago my question is " Is this consider a new charge off acct"?? I also have 2 midland collections that updated as well. Im trying to get a mortgage pre-appoval by april, so i don't know if i scewed up

I don't think you screwed up as most lenders look at the Date of First Delinquency, which in your case was 4 years ago. I have an unpaid collection from 2009 that was updated with a KD Sep 2012...it made no difference as I am closing in a week. Best of luck! :-)
