So only CreditKarma is showing my new Home Loan and HELOC loan (needed both to get my new home)...and I dropped 25 points on Equifax. Is this any indication at all of the sort of drop I'll get on my real FICO scores? AAOA 2 years, 10 mos. now 2 years and 6 mos. I just find it hard to believe that my scores will only drop this much now that i'm owing way more money.
Side note: I also applied for a CLI on 2 cards netting me $4,000 more total CL...don't know if this mitigated some of the blow.
I only rely on CreditKarma as the source for what is happening with my credit reports, and now since becoming a member of myFICO, I see even that information isn't always the same.
My CK updates on Sundays, and yesterday it said my Equifax lost 34 points because one of my credit cards first reported. My FICO score on Equifax updated yesterday, and the score increased.
Do not rely on the Credit Karma scores, they show me in the 680s while MyFico shows mid 700s.
