Home building

Once the home is built and you receive an occupancyl certificate, how long does financing last? Do you have to go thru the month financing like the way you do for a regular home sale?

Re: Home building

Is this a home you were pre approved for prior to construction?

I'm not quite sure what you are asking - how long does the financing last?  Do you mean how long does it take to close after the certificate of occupancy is issued?  Depending on how far along in the process you are at that time, you could potentially be ready to close within a week or so afterwards.
