I'm trying to help my in-laws find the right company to refinance their home through. Currently, I don't have much informatioon on the current mortgage other than the interest rate is somewhere around 4.50%. The house was just appraised with another company at $475k~ and they increased the interest rate by 0.25% .. ?
Both my FIL and MIL have excellent credit.
I know for auto refinance lots of people recommend DCU so I was wondering if they were good for Homes as well?
Really looking to lower the rate. We also have a commercial building which is currently at 11% that we plan to refinance eventually as well.
All suggestions/advice is appreciated.
