It sounds like the seller is chasing the market down. By the time they agree to lower the price, the home has dropped another 10K and the "lower price" is still below current market. Thsi is happening alot. It usually goes back to a stubborn seller and a realtor who won't be straight up with them and say...HEY, stop being idiots and lower the price to CURRENT conditions, not what is should have been 2-3 months ago..
