How Long To Get $8,000?

For those of you who have already received your $8,000 tax credit, I was wondering how long it took to get it back.  The IRS website says 12 weeks but I understand that is a very conservative estimate.

I closed on my house on May 8th and I mailed my amended tax return this morning.  Do you think I'll have to wait until August to get the money?

Mailed my adendum 3/20 and Received the $$ 5/2.

It also says if you haven't received it within 8 weeks to call.
