It depends on several things.
When was your bankruptcy discharged?
Did you include a mortgage in the bk & if so, what type of loan was it?
FHA requires a 2 year wait from a ch 7 discharge unless you included a mortgage, then it's 3 years from when the bank takes back title on the home.
VA is also a 2 year wait but it doesn't matter if you included a mortgage or not, it's still just 2 years from the discharge date.
USDA requires a 3 year wait after a bk & like VA, it doesn't matter if you included a mortgage.
Fannie Mae requires a 4 year wait after a bk & it doesn't matter if you included a mortgage or not.
The other big thing is you have to show re-established credit with nothing derogatory after the bankruptcy.
