How long will rates stay this low?

Part of why I feel so rushed to get approved for a mortgage is because the rate is now below 4%. My plan is to get pre-approval NLT November 1st. Any of the brokers here have a guesstimate of the rate change (if any) before then?

I don't know, but it sounds like rates are expected to stay low for awhile at least.  I know it's unpredictable, but everything I'm hearing hints that they'll stay low... HOPE SO!

I am closing this week on FHA @ 4.25% and am MORE than happy! Would love a lower one though.

Track the treasury rates, that is typically what mortgage rates follow. The feds have indicated they don't plan on raising rates until atleast 2013, so we should still have some time before rates start to begin ticking back up. I wouldn't be in any rush - they are actually on the down-tick currently.
