How many files does a LO work on at once?

I know that throughout this process, we sometimes feel like we SHOULD or wish to be the only file loan officers are dealing with... But in all actuality, how many different loans do these people have to manage at any given time?

I can't give an exact number...but I can tell you that when my wife and i went in to complete our application paperwork, our loan officer showed us two more files from the same builder she'd been given just that day.  One would assume that our file, plus those two, weren't the only files she had to work on.

If they are good, they probably have a ton of loans in their pipeline.

Plenty...when I did my application there were 3 other people waiting in line for my LO.  When I went back to the builder the following week, she had 2 other people with her...I was like damn is she the only one they have for this region? lol

1 - 10 usually.

some people will have an assistant or jr loan officers under them and can work more.
