How many places should I get pre-approvals from?

Since I need to move due to new job, I have been pre-approved with one bank but should I go to others? And how many? Will they all give me the same amount? I know interest rates could be different but what else could change? This is all new to me as a first time home buyer!

No need to get multiple preapprovals. You can choose a different lender to which you will apply for the mortgage when the time comes ... if you don't feel comfortable with the one that preapproved you.

i like the lady that worked with me but just wanna know if it would be best to get pre-approved multiple times or just once

I see you are a member, so have you tried Navy Federal?? I got a VA loan thru them in July and the experience was unbelievably easy.
