Hi, Mike2. My closing costs ended up being about $4,000 less than what was initially estimated when I first applied for the loan, and I still got $300+ back at the closing table, so that was a nice surprise. I didn't go with DR Horton's insurance quote. I kept my current insurance because I have home and auto bundled with them. You can only do a wire transfer for the actual closing funds. They tell you to bring your checkbook for any small amounts that you have to pay if there is a difference.
