I'VE FINALLY CLOSED ON MONDAY!!!

Hello everyone !

I just wanted to give an update about my collections and my home buying adventure. I did get pre-approved thru manual underwritting and I did have to pay 3 out of the 4 collections on my credit report. I'm glad its over with because I just closed on my new home on Monday!!! I am now a homeowner!!! I owe this forum for all the wonderful advice. I am glad to say that I will not be applying for any more loans any time soon cause this was way to stressfull for me...lol. But I am so glad that its finally over! I never thought that I could purchase a house but I did and those who think it isn't possible in this economy let me tell you it is very possible! I thank God for blessing my family with our new home.

Was this FHA or conv?

I'm planning on applying for an FHA loan in the near future and would love to hear how manual underwriting worked for you, my LO thought I'd be declined by authomatic UW and said I'd be sent through manual underwriting.  Did you have to provide additional info?  What were your scores?  What rate did you get?
