I got preapproved on Fri so the next step was to call my agent. He is a friend of our family so he has been waiting..  I have been watching our listings for a year, I knew exactely what houses I wanted to see. I called him today with my list...lol. He said he would set up 3 or 4 for this Sat and 3 or 4 for next Sat. I am sooooooooooooo

I loved house hunting!  I got all kinds of ideas and it helped me figure out exactly what I wanted.  I looked at many but bought one I saw the first day.  (But I went through making an offer on a different one I saw really late in the process, but couldn't come to a price agreement)

Here is a bit of advice:

Don't get attached to a home before you are under contract. Being willing to walk away may save you lots of grief.  Do your homework on what comparable properties are valued at. Your realtor should be able to help.

More advice

Do not open refridgerators in foreclosed homes.
My realtor should have known better, I did. It was his fault.

No power for three months + food left in refridgerator= smells like a corpse

WOW!  You and I will be doing the same thing at the same time.  I got approved on Monday.  I have three houses narrowed down (just like on HGTV) haha.  So I am very anxious.
