I'm Buying A Home!!!

Yay!  I was approved!  Just to give an idea to those who are building their credit in order to buy a home, I had about 10 accounts in collections (mostly medical, 2 vet bills, 1 utility)  I was going to pay those off until I found MyFico.com.  I DV some and they were erased, the rest are still there and I will send out PFD's AFTER I close on the house.  When I started reading these boards in November by scores were in the 500's.

Gross annual income: 67k

2 vehicle loans: $334 & $397 never any lates

2 credit cards never any lates

30 yr fixed rate FHA 5.5%

Approved for $170,000 (but would have taken anything that was offered, lol)

Scores: EQ 623 TU 657 EX ? but it was about 657

Re: I'm Buying A Home!!!

Congrats on the new scores!  You may want to look into opting out since old creditors will see requests for new credit and start crawling out of the woodwork.
