As of today my loan application is now in Underwriting. I turned in everything, locked in my rate and now just waiting. So far the processor only asked for copies of my Checks to show my earnest deposit . I emailed those this morning and she just responded to say she received them. I haven't heard back since. I hope everything else goes through smoothly. Now I'm just leaning on Prayer & Faith....Wish me luck!

They didn't give me a time frame; but I didn't ask either. Also my house is still under Construction and won't be complete/tentative until end of Feb. My LO said my appraisal will be ordered 1st week of March; so I think it will be some time before I'm approved and can close. I'm hoping I get answers on approval and told your good pending the appraisal and inspection. Did you get a time table?
That's funny because I'm in a similar situation. My LO said 30-45 days, but my house is under construction. It won't be complete until mid April. So I'm doing a ton of waiting. I just hope everything comes back ok. I don't feel like the house is mine until I hear 'Clear to Close'.
Yes; until I hear Clear to Close then I can sigh a relief. Good Luck with everything and keep me posted on your progress and I'll do the same.
I'm in the same boat! Appraisal is done today and I can't focus at work, checking emails etc. Like you guys, I don't want to get excited yet until we are clear to close.
