Inspection for house on May 1st

Do I need another since now since I'm trying for a USDA guarnateed loan through Met Life or will the old one work?  I thought they didn't require one?

Inspection- no. That is just something you do for yourself, the mortgage company really does'nt care if you do an inspection or not. Apprasial-yes. Each lender requires thier own appraisal. The USDA appraisal will be similar to an FHA appraisal-meaning the house will need to be in good repair and meet code. Some people refer to the USDA/FHA appraisal as the FHA/USDA inspection so just want to be clear on what you are asking about.
