Does a interest only home loan qualify for the 8k tax credit?

I believe it does as long as all other prerequisites are met, do you have a tax person though? Usually the best person to ask.

Thank you Shane for responding, I did ask my tax person and she said yes all I would need to is bring her the paperwork and could get my 09 returns amended to get the credit. Againe just like to double check before I commit to something.
