Is Citi a "Prime" lender?

Are mortgage companies looked at differently on your credit reports?  How would Citi differ from say Countrywide?

Re: Is Citi a "Prime" lender?

FICO doesn't care, but some lenders do.  Amex, for example, has been recently taking AA (CLD and/or account closures) against cardholders with Countrywide mortgages.
