Is it better to apply for financing at Honda dealer or on their website?

I would like to buy a new Honda in another month and was wondering if it would be better to apply for financing at the dealer or through Honda's main website?

If you apply online it just gives you approve or deny.
You pick out the car and apply for financing on that car.
Pretty simple......at least it gives you an idea before going into the dealership.
I feel like you have a "one up" on the sales staff. You know you are pre-app. and so do they.

Good Luck!! I just went through all that myself.

ILTPH....   Let me know what kind of interest rate you get.  Our scores are about the same and i want a new Honda too.

Re: Is it better to apply for financing at Honda dealer or on their website?

Will do, but it may be another month or two. We really need a car now (my wife and I are sharing one car), but I'm trying to get some of our baddies/lates before applying to help get us a better rate.

I'm planning on applying with LendingTree.com (for Capital One Auto and Roadloans), the Honda website/dealer, and our credit union (federal government) since it only counts as one pull in a 14 day period. If anyone knows of any other good places to get a sub-prime loan that I am not aware of please reply.
