So is the OP's AU status a problem for mortgage, because I am in a similar situation, my wife is an AU on my AMEX and Mastercard, but even without me she has perfect credit..like me...so before apping for mortgage should I remove her as an AU on both cc's?

Thanks

No, no reason to remove.  We're AUs on all of each others cards, and it has never even been mentioned in the last five mortgage loans we've done...

I suppose if the AUs appeared to be the only thing propping up the score, then it might be an issue - but just being an AU on your spouse's cards isn't a problem.

exactly.  if those au accounts are all of your credit.... it is a problem.
