It has been a whirlwind, and not a great process. Not on my LO or New Mortgage Co, but on the sale of my current home.
Put on market, off market on one day. Cash Offer, had to move out all belongings and into hotel to appease new owners. Hired Cleaners and had to rent storage and Pods. And they never showed up to closing. Deal Dead. MUTHABLEEPERS!!! Had to put property back on market, and have been back and forth with my new home build. Waiting for re-appraisal now. Hope the god lord gets us thru this last hurdle.
It has been a nightmare to say the least. I was supposed sell my current home back in November and new home was to be ready first week of Dec. Well not done so it panned out but still. Been sleeping on air mattresses for the last month with a storage bin for each member of my family (5) as possession to last us,Till we move in to our hopefully new home.
All please pray for me.
Got Clear To Close
Minor Conditions for the Closing Disclosure
Crossing Fingers for Tues Close, may be more Weds but either way Excited!! Been a long 6 months
Just received the closing disclosure documents. Boy this has been a long process, emotional, etc but it is nearly completed. Supposed to close Tuesday afternoon. Out of the rental by the end of the month.
We closed yesterday afternoon!! Closed on a new home build by Meritage Homes. We used their closing co to get their $1k credit. Mistake. Live and learn.. The woman who closed us was rude, and didn't pay very good attention. They told us to sign, we signed how we legaly sign all docs always. But my hubby's name didn't include his middle name. So we had to resign all paperwork. And she does this for a living. Took us 3.5 hrs to close and fund. My LO Shane was a blessing. Patient and always there with my million questions.
i wasn't oferred water, coffee, nothing. I had to ask and get myself. Customer Service - 10!!!
Glad we are done.. We are moving in this weekend
itching to APP for something but won't lol

^ Congratulations! The first thing were apping for is a new SUV for the wife. Second child due in April and she is dying to get out of her 13' Avenger. It was all the rave when she bought it in 2013 though LOL!
We got our clear to close today, woo hoo!!
We also had our inspection this morning and everything is good (it's new construction) with only a few minor cosmetic things that the builder will take care of before our final walk-through on Thursday. We are on scheduled to close on the 28th and I can't wait for this process to be over. Now i'm off to book our movers and cleaners for next week!
I have mostly been lurking in these forums, but we closed last week, woohoo! Figured my data might be helpful....
All in all, I'm surprised at how painless the process was!! And feeling very, very poor.....but happy to finally own our own home!!
