HURRAYYY!! I finally closed - I'm on my way to pick up the keys to "MY" new place. Thanks for all the great advice on here, I learned so much!
My contract was signed March 15th, I bought an REO, at a greattttt price, couple hiccups with underwriting, but my loan officer was great and kept me up to speed daily!
Just extending the closing dance mojo to all you in waiting!!!!! BEST OF LUCK!!

I had an old account from 2007 that was in good standing when I closed it but in the remarks it said "account closed by consumer" then "consumer disputes this account information" I also had dispute verbiage on an active account (again in good standing, but I had disputed it as they were reporting wrong balance) well now I know DO NOT DISPUTE ANYTHING 30 days prior to going to underwriting - this can and did for me raise red flags ( I used Prime Lending) and you have to get the dispute notifications off your report- which wasn't so easy! Then my second hiccup was a cash deposit I put in my account for 1200 dollars so had to write an explanation letter. I'm sure there was more but I'm blocking it out like labor you just forget the pain LOL
