Joint Bank Account and Mortgage App on my Own

Hello All,

I will be applying for a home loan without my DH. How will having a joint bank account affect the process? We live in Ohio if that matters.

All you should need is a LOE from the other person listed on the account that you have full rights to access any and all funds in that account and you should be good. I still have a checking account I opened in high school with my mom listed on it, I had her write and sign the LOE and that was all that was needed.

Yup my wife had to write a letter stating that I have full access to the bank account.

I am currently waiting response on my first and hopefully only round of conditions and they have not mentioned that...yet....
