So on top of my own mortgage app for the new house, I'm also trying to get a HARP refi for one family member and also an FHA Streamline for another family member going.
The HARP is through Quicken Loans and I have to say so far I'm pretty impressed. It's been very smooth, they have been very good at communicating everything and have followed up via email both times I uploaded docs for a couple conditions. So far so good.
On the FHA Streamline, we're still in the phase of choosing one of two loan officers. I feel sort of bad dragging them both through it with a bunch of questions but I have to see who is willing to do a better deal.
