We are buying our first home and I am so nervous! For the past three years, I have tried to make our credit the best it could be. We wanted to buy last year, but needed to rehabilitate an old school loan of my dh first. We've been saving and being so careful for so long, so it's exciting to hopefully see the fruits of our labor. This is such a nervewracking process!

Inpection found major standing water and mold under the house, along with other issues. We took our inspection contigency and ran, ran, ran! But.. we found another.. so now I have to go post in the August closers. Smiley Happy

We were about 7 weeks in with our old lender and decided to switch lenders, which worked out great in our favor. We went from 4.5% to 3.5%. Received the clear to close and closing disclosure yesterday. Closing is scheduled for 7/6/17
