This is not my first home.  I went through a foreclosure and bankruptcy in 2010. 

 

Buying:

Purchase price: $160, 000

Signed contract: May 18

Location: North Carolina

Property type: single family home

New/existing: existing 

loan type: Conventional/30 yr fix

Rate: 4.3

file submitted to underwriting: 5/29/2017

underwriting initial approval: 06/04/17

appraisal: 5/28/2017

Clear to close: 6/15

Closing date: July 18

 

Was suppose to close 6/20 but a defect showed up on the title that had to be cleared up.  Once cleared I was OK to close.  Renovation is in full swing.

Closing tomorrow! Delayed from Monday. Underwriter wanted a ridiculous document last minute. I thought he wa's gonna start giving us problems. But was satisfied after that and gave us the clear to close!

I finally got my clear to close this morning... what a relief. Closing on Friday at 2:00 pm!!! Smiley Happy

Excited and nervous at the same time!!! Hopefully the next few weeks will be a smooth one...crossing fingers!
