Re: July & August Closers

That is a GREAT deal PRC. Did you use a buyers broker or did you negotiate that deal yourself??? I always wonder if you do better with a broker. Hubby and I are thinking about a new build in Delaware but I'm not too keen on RE brokers. I have heard/seen too many horror stories.

Re: July & August Closers

We negotiated it ourselves.  We are using their mortgage company so that helped a lot as well.

Re: July & August Closers

LOL the original list price for mine was 179,900.....

We lowered them a lot Smiley Very Happy

It was on the market for 4 days, we offered 150,000

They countered for 156,000

We countered for 153,000

They accepted! hahaha

Re: July & August Closers

Ugh seeing all your low home prices are makes me jealous.  I could get two homes where you live with what is costs for one but that's the price I pay for living in San Diego.  But.....if  I had tried to buy 6-7 years ago there would be no way I could afford a single family home.
