Thank you so much to this board and it's members.
With your help I was able to clean up my credit and make some credit score-raising decisions that I did not even know before joining.
I was easily qualified for an FHA loan and there was not a single obstacle in underwriting process.
A few tips I want to offer to those wishing to buy a house:
Centralize your money
Do not deposit anything but your payroll for the 60 days before applying and all the way until you close
Do not deposit any cash
Make sure you have explanation for any potentially questionable transactions
And most importantly, explore all government, county, and city programs available to aid with home purchase. There are so many and they are incredible! It's never free money (although sometimes that happens), but it's always very significant help, like interest-free downpayment loans, or lower rate programs, or downpayment assistance loans.
Do your research until you are blue in the face!
Congrats!! I look to be joining you in home ownership in the near future.
Oh Happy Day! Congrats to you and yours!
I'm glad those programs work for most people! I suppose that Chase cash back rewards check is going to have to wait until May...
How very exciting! Congratulations
Congrats Sage!! You will enjoy every second
