Letter of explanation- need responses quick

I have been asked to write a LOX regarding a few dings on my credit. They want me to do it right now so it can be in to the underwriter by days end. Can anyone give me any advice on what to say ?

Keep it short and to the point.

Cant help you on what to say as we do not know the circumstances and you havent told us either.

Definately keep it short and sweet. And be honest.  

For example I had a charge off from 2008.  I was just honest.  I had some issues with the credit card company with some fees they were charging.  It was one of those re-build cards and I had a limit of 200 bucks and by the time I got my first bill I was over the limit because of all the fees they charged.  I was honest and explained the problem and added something to the affect of not understandin how important credit was and I was pretty much an idiot and blew it off.  I ended up paying in full bla bla bla. 

Nothing ever came back from that letter so I can only assume they were good with it.

Sorry for my lack of details. My mind is racing a million miles per hour because these are conditions they gave me and I am excited and nervous all rolled into one.

I have an old utility bill opened in 10/05 and closed in 04/06. The service address did not have physical mail delivery (everything went to the PO) and I thought the final bill was paid. (So I did not expect or look for another bill). Once I was made aware of the bill, I paid it in 07/06.

Old Student Loan- I was 90+ days late (June, July, August, September of 2007). No explanation other than money was tight and I could not afford to pay it. I did work with them and got it caught up and then paid off in Sept. of 08.

Civil Judgement-

This account was for a capital one credit card. I got behind on payments in 2008 and it went into collections. I could not afford to pay it and we could not reach an affordable repayment settlement agreement, so they filed a civil judgement in May 2008. After the civil judgement, I could not afford to pay the large lump sum amount that they wanted. Offers I made to settle it were not high enough to satisfy the collections people. Finally, years later, when I had more money I made a higher offer to settle it and they finally accepted that so I paid it off in August of 2012.

I think those explanations would work.  I had a utility on mine as well, ,same situation.  I actually thought they would have kept the deposit to cover the remaining bill so I never thought of it again.
