Here's a Yahoo! article regarding the $8,000 tax credit
for first time home buyers. Who qualifies, who doesn't,
tax refund examples, etc.
The article also discusses the option of Missouri residents
using the credit as downpayment money. Other states are
looking into this as well, but it doesn't say which ones they
are. So you might wanna do some homework and check with
your mortgage broker, lender, etc. to see if this is possible
where you live.
