I closed on a property last week with a FHA loan. I signed the HUD and everything seemed like it was in order. A week later I find out that the title company will not release the money to the seller because they claim that I did not pay the Mortgage insurance premium up front even though it was rolled into the loan. So basically they held up the money to the seller and said pay an extra $1700 or else. Has anyone with FHA experience gone through this?
