Ok. We retracted to offer on the property. I had mentioned the house to a coworker and she lives on the same street and informed me of a newspaper article from the owner claiming the military bombing 20 miles away was damaging his house. I read the article and retracted the offer straight away. It appears the owner is a contractor and builder, and may have built his own house otherwise he would've gone after the builders for the "poorly constructed house". (No other property had reported any damage in the area)
