Well....here's more to our saga....
Sellers agreed to fix the roof. Still waitin on that, LOL.
Had our homeowner's inspection. A few things that need to be fixed, they have till end of week to get them resolved or talk to us about them.
Also, had a Radon test done. Yeah.....gonna need a mitigation done as well, I believe.
Sigh......
I'm a nervous wreck! I'm so worries something will go wrong and my loan will be denied.

No need to be a nervous wreck! You can't control what the underwriter does, so, just hope and pray that he/she does their due dilligance in regards to your file and such.
More on my own personal house saga
Seller has repaired the roof and getting the gutters fixed. We now are awaiting their decision on the inspection conditions. A radon mitigation will be necessary, as the house tested over the 4.0 PicoCuries (or whatever that measurement is).
We don't want to glow in the dark
Still on track to close on 4/10, hopefully.
Of course, my concern is always underwriting. Hopefully, I've explained enough, and have done enough to appease the underwriter on our loan.

My loan officer sent me a break down of how everything will go now. He send in my application Friday and expected us to get the initial approval next week. Then here's what he said from there. "After the initial approval the underwriter will condition the file. This means if he/she has additional questions or requires more information we will have to provide this and once we do it will go back to underwriting for the final clear to close. I like to be sure that I address these questions within 3 days. Once we have a clear to close it then goes to the USDA for their review. This can take a few days as well, right now they are taking 10 days to review files. After they review the file and return it will take an additional 3 days to close."
