Not a March or April closer, but there's no June Closers thread yet!

  • Loan Approved w/Conditions: 04/09/14
  • Appraisal ordered: 04/11/14
  • Appraisal completed: 04/22/14
  • Clear to Close:  (fingers crossed)
  • Closing Date: 06/16/2014

 

This whole process is very nerve wracking and it stinks the closing date is so far away! There's tenants in the home right now and they are a major pain. I don't think they really want to move, but I didn't let them scare me away! Smiley Happy

 Hi...I just updated my post. No not yet :-/ new closing date is 4/30 due to several delays...1st appraisal came in lower (worked that kink out and resulted in price drop), just today lender asked for an inspection due to appraisal note re: missing sink in 1/2 ba due to crack but was being replaced when appraisal occurred. Getting closer to the prize.

Just closed today! 4/24 Smiley Happy  662k, 20% Conventional loan 30yr 4.6 APR.

 

Then app's for 2- 25k personal loans and got approved (Discover pre-approved I have been keeping and Lightstream?). to just get back my downpayment for the meantime.... am so broke now! Smiley Sad

 

App'd for Barcalys card too.. lol got 10k instant.  Now, it's time to garden........Smiley Sad((

My realtor and title officer warned me not to go running up nor apply for new debt immediately after I closed...be careful.

I wonder when a safe time to apply is. I wanted to get furniture but was worried to get new credit so soon.

I applied for a Lowe's card within hours of closing. They didn't give me any warning. I checked my credit report a couple days ago, no lender pulls recently.

I don't think we're ever going to close. This is taking forever. Still waiting on USDA approval.

Once you receive confirmation that the deed has recorded and you have the keys, there is absolutely nothing the lender can do about it, nor will they.
